Dutch people in line for marijuana, government orders closure of coffee shops (VIDEO)

The government in the Netherlands has adopted new measures to fight against coronavirus, which shut down schools, kindergartens, sports facilities, cafes and restaurants by April 6.

The new measures have prompted Dutch residents to wait in line, not for masks or toilet paper, but to buy marijuana before the shops close.

Citizens took to the streets immediately because a government decision made them unprepared.

One man has been arrested for deliberately coughing to expel other people in line, media in the Netherlands reported.

About 1,000 people are infected in this country and 20 have died from the effects of the virus.
