There are many different types of ways to get rid of scars, and many different methods for different degrees of scaring, but what natural treatment is right for you?

Getting rid of scars isn't always easy depending on the severity and age of the damaged outer tissue, but solutions are available. If the scar is a recent one that was caused from a light to moderate scratch or cut, Aloe Vera has been used to treat such minor blemishes, and lemon juice can be used to bleach any discoloration that may be left behind.

For many people their scars are far more severe and have been left behind from accidents long ago, and some times these can be in not so flattering places, and they may wish to get rid of them.

How to get rid of acne scars

Many people have to deal with acne scars. Though many creams have been known to work, they typically leave behind discoloration where the full scars used to be. There are other remedies for this that could be explored; some of which include lemon juice, cucumber for oily skin, honey for dryer skin, and lavender oil has been known to be an excellent treatment, but be careful - lavender oil can cause reactions and burning of the skin with certain people.

Olive oil is also a great way to get rid of these nasty little problems, but it should be understood that it probably won't work for extreme cases of acne scars.

How to get rid of Chickenpox scars

Oh who hasn't had chickenpox, except for a few very lucky people. These kinds of blemishes are very difficult sometimes in all honesty, because in a lot of cases they can become very deep in the skin. One of the best things that can be done is to start working on them right after the chickenpox have gone away.

It usually requires a variety of methods, which of course can be used long after they have gone as well. Vitamin E creams, camellia oil, and sandalwood oil are some of the most popular methods of treatment, but you should always consult with a dermatologist first before proceeding with these methods, just to see what would work best for your skin tone.

Don't give up, because there are many different types of methods to get rid of scars, you just have to keep plugging forward, but many people end up surprised at what works.
